Constituency summary
A Westminster constituency holds roughly seventy of the neighbourhoods (LSOAs and Data Zones) this data is published for, so each neighbourhood is counted whole in the constituency containing the centre of its population instead of being divided. The 2024 boundaries follow ward lines rather than neighbourhood lines, so a neighbourhood cut by a boundary is credited entirely to one side, which moves a small number of residents between neighbouring seats. Totals are sums of those neighbourhoods, averages are weighted by population, meters, or dwellings, and medians are weighted approximations rather than exact values. Taken together these are a sound estimate for the constituency, not an official statistic for it. Expand any section for more detail, or open the full interactive tool.
